EPTC is excited to launch its new comprehensive junior tennis program! With the addition of Coach Michael Summers to the EPTC team as Director of Junior Tennis, we are now able to offer a range of programs and classes designed for players 4 to 18 years of age, at a variety of skill levels.

Michael Summers, Director of Junior Tennis
Michael has over 20 years of experience coaching and developing junior, collegiate, and professional tennis players. As the former Director of the Evert Tennis Academy, Michael has developed numerous leading junior tennis programs. He also has worked with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Player Development program as the Administrator of Junior Competition. Prior to working with the USTA, Michael was a tennis professional with the prestigious Harry Hopman Saddlebrook International Tennis Academy.

Private: $62-$70 per hour      Semi-Private: $35 per person per hour

"10 and Under" Tennis
Students between 4 and 10 years of age are taught the fundamentals of tennis, including stroke production, hand-eye coordination, movement, rules and basic strategy in a fun environment using USTA-approved "10 and Under" equipment, nets, and balls.

Beginner/Intermediate Junior Tennis
Students are taught the fundamentals of tennis, with an emphasis on stroke production, movement training, match play, basic strategy, and tactics.

Advanced/Tournament Tennis
Designed for tournament-level players competing in high school and/or USTA Junior tournaments, emphasis is placed on improving overall strokes, advanced court movement, match play, strategy, and tactics.
